  • Lake Beckwith
    Lake Beckwith is just a mile away from Greenhorn Meadows Campground. Complete with a 1.4-mile walking path and Division of Wildlife stocked facilities, Lake Beckwith is the perfect place for walking your dog, fishing, and boating. A Colorado Fishing License is required and all dogs must be on a leash.   • Hollydot Golf Course
    Hollydot is Colorado City’s 18-hole public golf course. Tee times can be booked online, by phone, or in person. http://www.hollydotgolf.com
  • Lake Isabel / San Isabel
    Just a twenty-minute drive up Highway 165, San Isabel is a picturesque little community nestled in the mountains alongside Lake Isabel. Lake Isabel is the perfect place to spend the afternoon fishing, kayaking, or hiking. The Lodge at San Isabel, a restaurant and general store is open Mid-May through October. A Colorado Fishing License is required to fish at the lake. Boat rentals are not available, but personal paddleboards, kayaks, and small boats are welcome. http://lodgesanisabel.com/
  • Bishop’s Castle
    Want to see a castle in the mountains? Located half an hour up Highway 165, Bishop’s Castle is a stone and iron fortress nestled in the trees of the San Isabel National Forest. Wind your way through the castle’s wrought-iron stairwells through three-stories of towers and bridges.   • Colorado City Swimming Pool
    The pool is open Monday-Saturday from June to early August and is available for open-swim in the afternoon. Bring your toddler and wade in the toddler pool or join your children in the main pool.   • Pueblo City-County Library – Greenhorn Valley Branch
    Located within walking distance of Greenhorn Meadows Campground, the local library is the perfect place to spend time with your family.   • Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve
