Great camping site for our annual family reunions. Renting the entire loop of camp spots and gazebo works fantastic for us. Always enjoy our stay and the management goes out of their way to accommodate us. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Peacefully hidden within a grove of trees and it is absolutely gorgeous, as well to see how everyone is its own community and rely upon each other.

Greenhorn Meadows Campground and Colorado City are so breathtaking. The camp host was great!!! Everybody we met was extremely kind and generous. The campground was very well kept and it has nice hot showers. The park is full of amazing wildlife. We saw several mule dear, a couple of whitetails, a fox, skunks, and a golden eagle or two. I love the proximity to the ballparks, playground, and library. The foliage and the creek that runs through the park were gorgeous!!! We loved every minute!!!

Aloha.. we arrived at the site late, but it was awesome because we didn't need a reservation to camp, other places around did and nobody answered the ranger phones to help us with the website. It was nice and quiet and peaceful and beautiful scenery; bathrooms and showers were cool beans to have as well. Price wasn't bad, 20 bones for no power outlet but camping. There is power outlets or hookups and RV spaces. We loved the spot!

On August 11, a picnic was organized here. There was delicious food and drinks, good music, good service! Thanks to the organizers! We enjoyed it! And for those who want to visit this place on any other day, they can enjoy a good rest. There are few trailers here at the moment, I saw 4. There are a lot of trailers in the summer. Here is a beautiful view of the mountains, near the lake and the city of Colorado, where there are many shops. And in the park itself there is a library where there is Internet and all the services associated with it.

This is the place where the annual customer appreciation picnic is held every August. There are baseball fields, jogging track and many other things to enjoy. All this in an area with picnic tables under massive cottonwood trees that have to be over a hundred years old. There is also a creek to wade in (when there's water) close by. Excellent place for family picnics.
